In 2000, TRITEC Real Estate Company created a fund-raising bike tour to improve the health and well-being of our employees while making a positive contribution to our local community. In eight short years, Montauk We Hope has become one of the fastest growing bike tours on Long Island with nearly 400 riders of all ages and abilities.

This year’s tour is scheduled for September 10th with Hope House Ministries in Port Jefferson, New York as the primary beneficiary. Founded in 1980, Hope House has expanded their outreach to eight separate facilities that offer residential, counseling and educational services focused on restoring hope to the lives of young people and families in crisis. It is our “Hope” to expand our outreach to other valuable and much needed service-based programs in the community as well.

Whether you are an alumni or a first-timer, the Tour has something for everyone. The 75-mile route takes riders through the scenic vineyards along the beautiful North Shore of Long Island to the sandy beaches of Montauk on the South Fork. The “X-Treme” ride provides a unique challenge for advanced cyclists who want to go the 25 “X-tra” mile distance by circling the Montauk Lighthouse.
